     Best Music of the 90s
The 1990s was a season for one-hit wonders, new fads, nightclub rhythms, and remakes. It was also a decade known for music collaborations with Barbara Streisand and Bryan Adams singing "I Finally Found Someone." Sting, Rod Stewart, and Bryan Adams also made "All For Love" a popular movie theme. Needless to say, the best music of the 90s was born out of mix and musical rhythms that cater to modern youthful taste.

If you can still remember dancing to the tune of "Macarena" by Los Del Rio, "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus, and "Thubthumping" by Chumbawumba, chances are, you have lived through the 90s. These fads influenced a lot of changes in the music scene.

The 1990s was also a season for boy bands and female groups. The Spice Girls, with a stream of chart-topping hits, introduced a new pop culture. Meanwhile, its male counterpart, the Backstreet Boys, also made it big not only in America but also in other parts of the world.

Madonna still dominated the charts, while rock bands such as Nirvana continued to rule the stage with "Smells Like Teen Spirit" as one of the best music of the 90s. Alternative rock music was also heard from Oasis with "Wonderwall," Goo Goo Doll with "Name" and "What Would You Say" by Dave Matthews Band.

Movie themes, remakes, and more sexually provocative songs were among the memorable hits of the 1990s.
